# About me

I love videogames.

Since I was 7 I’ve been playing games on all types of platforms, gamepads and joysticks were an extension of my hands and still today I’m amazed by the new tendencies in this field.

I didn’t have enough skill to be an eSport player, but I did have drawing skill, so my dream soon became to draw cool concept art, character designs and graphic assets and watch how they were going to breathe life through a joystick or gamepad.

But I could grow as an artist professionally at first by working as illustrator for books and comics. Through that experience I could improve my abilities as a concept artist since I could design my own characters and environments and also bring the writer ideas to life. Basically working for my own ideas and being a team player. For many illustrations I had to master vector art skills in order to avoid quality loss on print, and recently I started to explore pixel art out of nostalgia.

That experience helped me a lot in the videogames industry. I can literally brainstorm sketches in no time. That, along with the fact that I’m comfortable in almost every environment to illustrate final art, traditional or digitally, and along with the fact that I can conquer almost every illustration software in a matter of days, makes me very adaptable and versatile to every workflow environment.

It may be because of my amateur experience in game programming through tools like RPG Maker (and some others) and my professional experience as 2D artist, that I developed a workflow that is already thinking instinctively on making the programmer’s life easier.

Just say that I’m a nice guy to work with, a team player, funny but at the same time quite professional and committed to his work, respectful with others, tactful and easy to talk to.
