In any case I never said copy off of. and if you think emulation is copying then you won't care for any art class since all art and technique is learned through the emulation of something, most classes focus on certain artists too. And don't tell me there is a difference between the 'master artists' and many on DA. Their renown because of what they did then. There are MANY Wonderfully talented artists in the world that will never get the recognition they deserve.

Photoshop is not art. I've never taken an art class where they tell you to draw exactly like the artist you are learning from. It has all been about interpretation and learning how to put your own creativity in paper.

And Photoshopped things are art EVERYTHING is art. Photoshop itself isn't sure. It's a tool. Like a pencil, a paintbrush, a bloody quill!

No. A lot of "artist" in Da substitute art for photoshop. Some know how to use and can do without it as well, while others use it to hide their lack of talent. Which is a lot of people in Da. And I rather learn from the people who invented them.
