I'm glad I saw your version, too.  There is a small sense of narcissism in the happiness of seeing a character one created be recognized by someone else.  It's the loveliness of having put her in be open source, to see how others use her.

It's funny, though, because I decided to release her into as open source in a response to how boring I found the character, in my own mind.  Maybe that says more about how I see myself, but I definitely couldn't think of much to write with her, unlike my other superhero characters, all of whom are not just me with super powers.

That's nifty.  Too bad all the books on IndyPlanet where I did the art are so bad--I really have gotten better in that department.  I also should cut out the dead weight (like some of those ones reprinting public domain comics, maybe all--they're what sell, but some of those books have horrible scans--and it's not like I'm the one doing the scanning; and they're primarily uploaded through Ka-Blam for me to have a copy of said books, anyways).  Maybe should try to put up more Karabear Comics Unlimited--the art goes from eye-gougingly terrible of what's already up on the site up to the maybe-good of today.  Progress!

Okay, I know it's taken a little bit for me to respond, but I've been preoccupied (visiting with family that I haven't seen for years). I wanted to say that I'm happy, but also wonder what I requested, or if you're waiting for me to give elaboration. Could you draw my character Split [link] ? Usually I would ask for a comic page or some other sort of thing, but you seem like you just want to do sketches or just single characters at the moment. I've actually been focusina lot of effort in trying to get artists to do some of my other comic work, actually (which would mean full issues, but a chance to get paid). I'll try to return to asking for artists for The Broken at some point, however.

I'm glad to hear that, thank you! My superhero stuff is my less personal work. My other comics are far more intimate, and they are pushing the boundaries of what I can do. But that also means they are more likely to fail
