Ze'el stopped his airship, sighing in frustration as he stared at his map. The captain was lost, and he didn't want to be stranded too long, for his engines were already low on gas. He looked up through the large white sails at the sun, trying to predict the time. So far, this voyage wasn't going well.

Messenger was drifting along the skies, currently lacking any urgent deliveries or messages so he was taking a much needed break. Right now he could go for some lunch, since he accidentally ate his extra snacks with his breakfast, but he wasn't going to tell anyone that. Messenger's thoughts began to drift off as he neared the airship, thinking it was a cloud, he didn't adjust his flight. Suddenly, Messenger got a face full of white cloth.
"YAAEH!" He yelped after be collided. Messenger immediately began to plummet downwards, losing the concentration of his magic which kept him afloat.

Ze'el looked up in alarm and confusion, seeing the boy fall onto his deck. He straightened up, barking at his crew to grab the messenger before he could even stand. Where did this guy even come from?

Messenger let out another strangled yelp when he was grabbed. He kicked and bit anyone he could but eventually gave up, he never had much of a punch in the first place. He swallowed the building anxiety and looked for the man in charge. When he saw him, he almost did a double take,
"Pink hair?" he said before he could stop himself.

Hearing the question, he flared up, immediately putting a hand on his pistol as he approached the stranger. He hated people who ever made fun of his hair. "Yes, "pink" hair! Gotta problem with it?!" The Brit's English accent could well be heard as he spoke, glaring at Messenger.

Messenger jumped and would've held his hands out to pacify the strangely haired man if they weren't held behind him,
"Nononono! I didn't mean it that way!" he exclaimed.

"That what the hell did you mean?!" Careful Messenger. He's ready to already shoot you in the face.

"It was just an observation! That's all!" He shuffled in his place and glanced around at the faces glaring at him, " 'm sorry if I offended you. Didn't mean to, honest."
Messenger had been observing his surroundings, he was on board a zeppelin by the looks of it (or that what he thought it was) and it was inhabited by pirates? The captain was obviously the man with the pink hair and looked to be his age. There had to be a story behind that.

"Sure you didn't." He took his hand away from the pistol at his side, but doesn't mean he would pull it out fast as lightning. His steel colored eyes glared at him. "Who are you and how'd you get on my bloody ship?"

"Uuuhh," Messenger searched through his head for an excuse, anything that came up would get him in more trouble, stow away on a barrel? Did they even have barrels? Fell asleep on the sails? Might as well just tell the truth,
"Name's Messenger, and I flew here," he said with a straight face, "who're you?" he asked curiously, his head tilted slightly.

"That's none of your business." He stared as he looked him up and down. What was with this guy and the feathers?

Messenger felt the eyes on his feathers, he always had a sixth sense when it came to the safety of the feathers, and shuffled even more uncomfortably. If the feathers were touched he had to either run or fight,
"Well since i'm a captive, I should at least kn-iiiow who's holding me," his voice cracked.

"...Captain Ze'el Cromwell." He smirked, especially at hearing that crack in pitch.

Messenger cleared his throat as an embarrassed flush crawled up his neck. Of all the times his voice could've cracked, it had to be then. Messenger tried to look serious but his face and size made him look like an angry puppy,
"What's gonna happen to me?" He asked another question, thanking any kind of god that his voice didn't crack again.

"...Hmm." He looked at the tall, older men holding him. "Put him in the brig."
The two nodded, and they literally lifted him off the ground and carried him away. They took Messenger below deck, to where some small jail looking cells were at.

"Huh. Don't you guys have anything better?" He questioned out loud as he looked around, "kinda shabby for such a well upkept ship."
It was a bit dusty down in the brig for Messenger, but that was mostly because he never stayed in one place for a long time, so dust wasn't a common occurrence to him. He looked at the two thugs and waited expectantly. This wasn't the first time he blundered into something extreme and had to be detained.

They threw him in the cell, locking the door. They hung the keys up on a far wall, snickering as they left the brig. The usual concept of it all.
A glint of amber eyes appeared in the rafters though, the blinding white of the small form clearly visible in the dim light. The sharp reddish gems stared at him, unblinking.

Messenger groaned and rubbed the back of his head, they could have done that a lot nicer than they did. He looked over the cell and his eyes laced on the keys, Messenger would've scoffed because they thought that he couldn't get those. The sudden light tore his eyes away from his getaway and he found himself looking at the tiny person. He got up off of the ground and stepped toward the bars to get a closer look at the thing.

The eyes still stared. The tiny figure seemed to spread its arms, only to see that they were not arms, but wings. It was a bird. It screeched at him, it's white feathers bristling to make itself larger.
