Same for me. I went there during 2009/2010 winter with a friend of mine and I decided to go there again after my University Master, but now I have to wait.
I am really worried for Japan, I hope things will be better soon, but I know that the problem is really big.

What places did you visit? Only Tokyo?

Yah, we stayed in Tokyo most of the time and only went out one day, to visit mount takeo... that was an amazing experience, exept for the heat xD

I went there during winter, so the weather was good, it wasn't too cold!
I stayed 10 days in Tokyo and a week in Osaka, so I could visit Kyoto, Nara and Kobe too! Kyoto was really awesome, but I really loved Nara ^_^
I have great memories of That winter... I celebrated new year's eve in a shintoist shrine and drank a lot of sake
