That's good to use lots of things, so it's awesome that you use so many ^^. Keep up the good work X3.
I'll experiment with different media for a while but in the end markers smell really good. I guess I should say I use primarily makers and sometimes awesomely ghetto things like glitter gels, tea washes, and various pencils (like Smencils! The fruity smelling pencils of LOVE) for texture.

...I probably shouldn't determine my media based on scent XD

Cool, that's the first time I've gotten a comment in Japanese. なんかごめん，私, 関西弁しか喋へんや。XD

I'm not going to do a tutorial probably, but I'm more than happy to answer questions.
As for how I do my colors, It's really just copics, a few pencils for finer details/texturing (like knits/denim), and some gel pen for finishing touches like eyes and shiny things. There's not a lot I can say. It kind of works like when you shade with pencil, just with...um...color. That and years of practice and marker fumes and somehow it starts to work out. <3.

If it helps, I usually layer from the darkest color and spread out from there, I've found it takes less layers. Use too much and it starts getting soggy on you and streak. Some really saturated colors like red will do it even without overworking the paper. Reds and dark/intense blues and purples are a pain.
With markers, you often have to use way more layers and colors than you think. Like a painting, but less messy. Also don't be shy about mixing media like watercolor/pencils/gauche/cheap ballpoint pens/ whiteout in. <3 I've been known to use my fingers to spread colors around in backgrounds too.
