Indeed! I keep thinking about that when I see your posts on Tumblr. Uh, let's see, I'm figuring out what all I'm doing for grad school, getting ready to teach some summer physics labs, and obsessing over Sherlock, with a little playing Diablo III on the side. Oh, and attempting to brew my own root beer (full disclosure: the first attempt was bad -- I didn't even get to the bottling stage because I knew the molasses flavor was too strong [like, that's all you could taste, ahaha...I added too much] -- so I'm trying again tomorrow). Yep, I think that's a pretty apt summary of what all's going on with me. (I suppose I should mention, I did graduate with my math and physics degrees, and no one even booed me out of my physics thesis presentation! Hooray! Haha.) How about you?

Were you planning on working on the Raditz fic again in the near future? I'm going to try to finish FRIGID soon, I only have two chapters to go, I just need to focus on that instead of all the XMFC stuff I've been doing.

I've been busy doing stuff with ISO, Occupy Toledo, and People for Change, which is a theory/reading group for graduates of the Inside/Outside prison exchange program. IDK if told you about that? These were the classes that I took inside the prison, with a mixed group of student inmates and students from my university.

Other than that, I presented a paper at a sociology conference earlier last semester, and now I'm entering my last year of my undergrad and getting my ducks in a row for grad school. Also, I was at the NATO protest in Chicago last week, and it was incredible and I'm really glad that I went, enough though I was pretty sure I was going to die during parts. Getting ready for the Socialism2012 conference next month.

Other than that? Lots of X-Men fic and mantises. I don't guess your lobata girl is still around?

Haha, I've been thinking about giving the Raditz fic another look, yeah. But, not sure how likely it is in the immediate future; I also have a Dragon Age fanfic that I got barely started on that I'd like to make more headway on. (But of course in the meantime Sherlock has snatched away all my attention, so I'm very slowly working my way into getting into the mood to work on older stuff.) I still occasionally get a person commenting on G&G, or adding it to their watch, which makes me feel bad. I think the last time I updated it was the September or October before last? Ahaha...still though, thinking about it, I'm sure it'd be fun to pick it back up...)

When you do post the next chapters of Frigid, I'll definitely be excited to read them! And I really do mean to read your XMFC stuff one of these days. There's just too much stuff to juggle. @_@ Or I'm just that disorganized. (I'm also grading for one of my profs, which is an additional scheduling complication. I'm grading the homework and the posts to the online discussion board, but the prof has made the criteria for the discussion board posts rather complicated, so I have to keep track of everything on a chart, haha.)

Well, I've seen a bit just from your Tumblr posts (goodness, you do sound very busy!). I remember you telling me that you were doing the Inside/Outside program. Sounds really neat/interesting...if you ever feel like rambling about it for a while, I'd be happy to read whatever you have to say. All your awesome activism stuff makes me feel very lazy indeed.

It sounds like you are having some incredible experiences at all these events. They sound amazing, though I feel like I'd get really stressed out, hah. The most traveling I've done recently was to visit some friends in Kansas City last weekend.

Nope, Cupcake died...hm...a few months ago? I'm trying to remember exactly when...I want to say sometime in February. I've been debating getting another mantis, but since I'm mostly staying at my parents' right now, I've got my other various animals to hang out with, so I may wait. (Also, my root beer hobby is currently sucking up my money a bit more than I thought it would, haha. This second batch, though, looks much, much more promising than the first batch. It actually smells like root beer...mmm.) What types of mantises are you keeping nowadays?

Wellll, technically, I need to wait until she's done filling in the rest of the chapter, to get a feel for the mood and make sure the expressions I've drawn are correct since the goings-on have changed ever-so-slightly from when I drew the original sketch.
Of course, I should also get to work on thinking up what I want to draw from chapter 9!

Yeah, I accidentally accepted it so I went ahead and removed it.
I didn't notice any others (except that technically there is an older, unfinished version of a fanfic in there, and then the complete, newer one -- "He Means Business" -- I tried to take it out, but DA was complaining about the category I had originally submitted it to. If you think I should remove those chapters I can probably re-categorize them to get them out of the gallery...or, come to think of it, maybe I should just delete them altogether. )
