One cannot easily be satiated when it comes to music. LOL
I have the same problem but I tend to go look for references to make what I'm currently working on more natural or something- ( ಠ__ಠ)
I gather up so many images then unconsciously stray off from what I should be looking for... COZ. SO. MANY. GOOD. IMAGES.
---er.. well... either that or I end up reading manga coz the image interested me and made me search for the title.

Oh! Oh! Try listening to Two Steps From Hell. They're more of those BGM types from movies, games, etc.
One song there sounds like that bg music from Pirates of the Caribbean- LOL
Or maybe that exactly was the bg from Pirates of the Caribbean  ( ಠ__ಠ) 

Anyways, I find their music helpful when drawing~
Like it sets me into the mood or just lets my imagination match the drawing I'm supposed to do.
Or just plain imagine something up based from the mood of their music.

I love Two Steps From Hell ^.^ Such great music! I think I have a hoard of their music on my youtube playsit hehe Probably labelled under Epic XD hehe 
I've actually been listening to a lot of piano music...like Bach and Mozart O.o I recently finished this anime, Shigatsu wa kimi no uso...and -sighs- just love it so much. If you haven't watched it, I highly suggest it ^.^ But yeah~ been listening to the music from that series ^.^

I could still work on pieces from way back- though I'd always have enhancements/tweaks here and there to apply my current style.
I won't change what I've done entirely- unless I REALLY don't like how it was before -lol

That's true~ I think it just bothers me while tweaking because the line quality goes to crap if you edit it too much. So in the end you would have to re-ink anyway. I like my crisp lines too much XP

I tend to do a really tweaked -so much edited- sketch then clean sketch with all the details before I actually do the lines. It makes thing quite easy for me. So when I do edit a lineart it's not much... And the lines I tend to do are either thin or accentuated wtf? lol thick. Hahaha

That's how I do things so it makes tweaking tolerable [?]
And I get to keep the nice crisp lines~~~ <3 coz I also have OCD for that! lol

My issue is that I normally get far enough to the point that I ink everything and then grow tired of the picture and move onto something else. So when I come back everything is inked so tweaking is tedious >.< If it was on a sketch I would be more willing to go back to pieces. It's usually once I finish inking that I hit the point where I'm growing tired of working on it. I just need to work on getting quicker near the beginning of the process so that I don't have to run into this problem ^.^
