I think it was around even before 2004. I think I've joined with my first account in 2001... that account got banned so I've made this one.

According to Wikipedia deviant art was "launched on August 7, 2000"... so it's almost 19 years old.

Haha I'm still a fan, but probably more for nostalgia's sake at the moment. Not really much has been happening in that fandom over the years...
I haven't drawn anything properly in about 6 years now, I agree that life tends to really get in the way of that. No more 5 am all-nighters for me! I'm trying my hand at Photoshop again as it's been such a long time, so if all goes well I'll upload that soon...
Apart from that I'm doing fine, life is now pretty stable. Got married last year, I have two pet chickens and trying to convince hubby to get me a rabbit. So, high priorities as you can see! XD

I haven't drew and photoshopped anything decently in 8 years... it's when I started a new relationship which made me very drunk with love and I'm still not sober... I hope I never get sober from love!

Do chickens make good pets? I guess if you have a yard they could... I live in an apartment... so ... yeah. Rabbits are cool, they do stink though.
I'm struggling with a desire to get a cat for a while myself... but cons overweight the pros... so, yeah...

Ah yes, love can be a distraction, but what a distraction! It's lovely to hear you have love in your life. Thankyou for the kind words! I'm sure marriage will bring lots of adventures and ups and downs, but I've got the rest of my life to face them. XD
Chickens are interesting pets. Over time they develop their own personalities and learn routines, so I'm officially the food maiden my chickens chase all over the yard. Their names are Peri Peri and Teriyaki. But rest assured I'll never eat them!
Cats can be challenging creatures, I have a friend who has the most demanding cat in the world (waking them up at night, wanting to play at 3 in the morning etc). Luckily I'm allergic so I don't have to pet sit that cat any time soon! Hope you manage to have a pet of your own one day, they are such a delight.

You can name your next chicken a chicken Kiev... you like to name them after food... >.>
yeah... cats can be a gamble. they can be great and a great pain in the ass.
I have a pet. her name is Olga and she's a hombot. aka a robotic vacuum cleaner. she creeps around the house and speak in fluent english and she's cleaning the floor. it's a win win situation.

Haha, I'll keep Kiev in mind! Other names I considered were Butter and Tandoori.  
The only cats I know are the neighbourhood cats, and they always somehow wind up on my roof or walking over my car. >__>;; 
I've heard cats love riding on robotic vacuum cleaners - could be a triple win situation for you! XD
