Urasina: Beyond Neopia 4The storm had been raging for three days, with no sign of letting up. If anything, it only seemed to be getting worse. Urasina and the Felynes had been cooped up in the cave all that time, and they were getting antsy.
There was more than just the storm to worry about, though. The nearby river, though normally slow and shallow, was rising fast. At the rate the water was peaking, it would start to flood the cave within two more days.
“This storm is insane,” Urasina grumbled, staring out the cave entrance. “We get bad storms where I come from, but nothing like this.”
“It doesn’t feel natural, nya,” replied one Felyne. “Storms don’t normally act like this.”
“Are there monsters that can cause storms?” the Uni asked.
“A few, yes,” answered another Felyne. “And I think this storm is meownster-made.”
It glanced at the river.
“We may need to move, nya,&

Urasina: Beyond Neopia 3There were ten Felynes in the tribe, all of them adults. Urasina had a hard time telling them apart; they all looked very much alike. The Uni soon began to figure out how the tribe functioned. Every evening they drew sticks, and the three Felynes who got the shorter sticks were the ones who would go foraging the next day. Urasina went with them to keep them safe from monster attacks, though for the first week or so, things were peaceful.
One morning, as the day’s foraging Felynes and the Uni reached a promising-looking area, one Felyne pointed to a rock outcropping that was giving off a bit of smoke.
“Be wary, everyone,” he said. “Looks like a Glavenus came through here recently.”
Urasina studied the rocks.
“Why are they smoking like that?” she asked after a moment.
“Glavenus are big brute wyverns,” spoke up another Felyne. “Their tails are like swords, and they sharpen them on rocks.”

Urasina: Beyond Neopia 2Urasina opened her eyes to find herself lying in the very same nest she had seen in the wyvern’s memories. She jumped to her hooves and looked around, fully anticipating a wyvern attack at any moment.
But there were no signs of life anywhere nearby. The nest appeared to have been abandoned years ago.
“/The green wyvern I slew… was this HER nest?/” she thought to herself, pawing at the large branches that made it. “/And was the red wyvern I saw… her mate?/”
This made her begin to think of her family back home. She suddenly felt more alone than she had felt in years. She forced herself to suppress those feelings and focus on the present.
It was nighttime, and the moon was remarkably large. The ledge she stood on was barren, except for the nest, with no easy way on or off except for flying.
“/Urasina, can you hear me?/” Kouren’s voice sounded in the Uni’s head.
“/Kouren? Yes,

Urasina's newest adventure begins!
Urasina: Beyond Neopia 1It looked like any other barren stretch of the Lost Desert. Hardly a landmark in sight, only endless sand dunes.
But to Kouren, it was ground zero, the place where everything changed several years ago.
“Can you sense it, Urasina?” the Light Faerie asked the Uni hovering next to her. “It was right here…”
She extended one arm, her hand stroking against something she could both sense and not sense.
Urasina shook her head.
“I can’t sense anything,” she replied. “I take it the barrier is right about where your hand is?”
“Yes, this was where that barrier shattered and the wyvern invaded,” Kouren said. “The wyvern that only you were able to slay.”
“The wyvern that changed everything we knew about dimensional barriers and the confluence of worlds,” the Uni finished. “And the one that did this to me.”

Urasina's FormsI've decided to bring together all of the various forms Urasina has taken/can take across both time and space and put them all here, for ease of access. I'll describe each one as well.
ORIGINAL FORM: Green Uni

Urasina as I first obtained her on Neopets.com: a Green Uni filly, barely a few months old. Canonically, she's about six-seven months old here. She stayed in this form for most of her first year. Those who know her well will notice her Light ring is not present yet; that came near the end of her first year, after her first form change.

Urasina's MusingsI find the stories they tell about me... quite entertaining. From the way other Neopians say it, the stars sang when I was born. Or I was created within the sun and sent to Neopia to protect it. Or that I was a Light Faerie's greatest creation.
None of that is true.
I was born a perfectly ordinary Uni filly, weak and mortal, to ordinary Uni parents. There was no magical hand in my birth, no special blessings, no once-in-a-million-years event when I was born. I had no destiny set for me. I just had my life to live.
I got to where I am today purely by hard work and a little bit of good luck. Heck, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who has the grit to put in all the hard work that's needed can get to this point, or nearly so. I certainly wasn't fated to be one of the Lost Desert's greatest heroines. I worked hard to get to that point, and there were setbacks along the way, as to be expected. Urasina's QuirksThis is a listing of some of Urasina's quirks that make her such a unique Uni. Everyone has their quirks, some more so than others.
FLIGHT: TAKEOFF
Most Unis have to start running before making one big leap and flapping their wings vigorously to get airborne. While Urasina can certainly do that, she prefers a more direct approach: vertical takeoff. Her dragon wings are so large and broad that she can simply jump straight up from where she stands and begin to ascend. It's a slow process and she has no forward momentum, but she can take off in places most Unis can't, due to lack of space. However, once she's high enough to avoid hitting anything, she has to work a bit harder to begin moving forward. Though if she has a tailwind, it's a moot point (more on that later).
Urasina also has the ability to launch herself into the sky using her magic. She shifts her body weight backwards onto her haunches, spreads her wings, and takes to the sky as if la
On ImmortalityUrasina and Titance are both immortal, but their immortality springs from two very different sources. As a result, though neither one can die, they deal with the world differently.
URASINA
Urasina's immortality is born from her Light magic. It's a mix of her own magic, of Kouren's magic, and of the magic of the Core of Light. She does not age, and she is constantly regenerating slowly. She can focus and speed up this regeneration if needed. But while she's immortal, she's not invulnerable. She can and does take damage in a fight, and if she takes enough damage, she can be forced to withdraw and heal, which may take a little bit of time. She's got a "damage limit," and when she hits it, some interesting things happen. First of all, the Core of Light that she bears within her will shield her with a barrier so strong that NOTHING can breach it, aside from a human (as humans like me are immune to Neopian magic). Urasina can't go that fast, but she can pretty much outfly anyone else who isn't using magic. And she does make those sudden bursts of speed that the dragon did when it dove to catch its prey, and again when it left the water.

The big green dragon is the same kind as the one Urasina slew years ago. And one of her powers is to summon its spirit to fight alongside her. She can also summon three baby dragons of the same species, which are also in the video.
