Yeah, I just moved into my dorm today. I've been spending the summer practicing like mad on my art skills so that I can put a strong portfolio together during the school year. I'm gonna apply for a Master's in Fine Arts program.

Yeah, we're still on. I've just been uber busy because of getting ready for school, finding a job, and the start of school this week.

For some immature reason I have been blocked from commenting on the burning Twilight book, so here's my reply to your comment:
No - burning a book is burning somebody's artwork. It's disrespectful. I respect this artist's opinion, but not the fact that Stephenie Meyer's art is being burned.
As for the statement, a drawing or painting would do.
And you just said burning the book is a heavy statement - something that means you're all for freedom of expression.
Then why can't I express my opinion? That's what comments are for - critique and opinions, not just praise, though I said in my first comment that I fully respect the artist's rights.

I think you've misunderstood. I gave her my opinion - and my thought about the idea (I said I LIKED it) and told the artist I respected her. I also tried to walk away - leave it like that, but the artist insisted on discussing, and it would have been rude not to reply.

Not all art is good art, but this one is, and I accept that. Performance is also good art - even though they cut themselves and puke on stage to make it, and I don't like that.
I did not say this was ignorant of blasphemic, but would you enjoy your art burned? Even if it was a copy? Nobody would enjoy or accept that, and even though Stephenie Meyer probably never will see this, I don't think it's the right way of expression. That's MY opinion...

Because if you can't accept and respect someone elses opinion, why do you get to have your own?
The only thing you had to do is simply accept it and walk away. But you didn't. You sat there and argued with them instead of just stating how you felt and walking away.
And for the record: All art is good art. Even when it's burning. Because that in itself is artistic expression and should be accepted and respected. There is no ignorance in it or blasphemy. There is an expression of feeling.
Also, please look up the definition of ignorance, because you're it.
