Hi Spideyboone! MJ is made from a Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Anya Hell's Bells" action figure. She comes wearing the dress (which blissfully rather resembles MJ's wedding dress anyway!) and I just repainted the hair from blonde to red, and changed the flowers to match my wedding colors. Best of luck! The Anya action figure crops up on ebay pretty often

Thank you! i´m alright, too busy but i cannot complain. my little girl entered school this year so you can imagine... freelancing, restoring photos, making photo studio backgrounds, designs, opened two shops online to sell stuff with my art, and now composing music hehe.... too many things for just one person, i feel tired but happy.

a small simple sketch, but i could not take my eyes of his hand while he was drawing, and felt unreal while he checked my portfolio. i was absolutely absorbing his presence right next to me and listening intently to all he said in those 10 minutes as if God himself was talking to me.

It is strange, he is such a humble man, so simple, his gestures, his clothes, the way he draws and smiles to people. a real gentleman and very very shy, and yet such an amazing artist. I admire him so much.

In all the extras on the LOTR DVDs where they interview him, he always had such a calming, amazing presence. I bet it was even more amazing in person!

The closest I've had to that feeling was watching Kinuko Craft do a sketch in my copy of her book. I started crying a little!

i understand the feeling pretty well

You know.... it is so different from being a fan of a rock or pop band.. These people are just human beings like you and me, but the fact that they carry so much sensitivity is what makes me feel so much respect for them. You can't imagine them going to fight a war somewhere.

Agreed!! This is why...I try to explain to friends why going to Faeriecon is so much more important to me than going to Dragoncon. Dragoncon is fun, Mardi Gras-style partying with fellow geeks, but Faeriecon is a co-mingling with like minds who have a passion for these things...you get to walk right up to the table of Charles Vess or Kinuko Craft, or Forest Rogers and talk to them about their art, their passions. There's NO substitute for that.
