Favorite visual artist: Milt Kahl, Chuck Jones, along with many other animation and concept artists.Favorite movies: All sorts; lots of mainstream stuff, I have to admit.
Favorite TV shows: Hardly watching any. There is just not so much time.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Anything Rock, up to Heavy Metal. Soundtracks to get into specific moods for work. Music is my fuel.
Favorite books: "Das Boot" from Buchheim (the one the movie is based on) left a huge impression. Can only suggest having a look. As for Comics: Horst. Absolutely awesome, that bad rabbit (should have been a rat hehe).
Favorite writers: Jules Verne
Favorite games: Until I stopped gaming last year, I used to fly a virtual transport helicopter in ArmA, in multiplayer community gigs. Basically an aerial taxicab driver that is constantly being fired upon. xD
Tools of the Trade: Learnt it the traditional way, but now it is all Wacom Cintiq 21UX. Mostly using Adobe Creative Suite CS4 and the ToonBoom line software. But I still love the charms of blue pencil and copying paper, mostly doing this at conventions still.
Other Interests: Well, love to live, love to love, love to fly. That kind of sums it up. No, this does not mean I want to eat a steak while having sex aboard an airplane. (On the other hand..?)

Welcome to my private DA page.Here, I'd like to share some of my work, both business and private stuff, along with some sketches and work-in-progress material. My main business is Cartoon Animation, so expect quite some anvil and dynamite action going on. Aside of that, I'm somewhat known for having a weakness for pin-up art and the one or other naughty cartoon.
As for the bio part: I am born '77 in Germany, live and work in Berlin, where I run a small cartoon animation studio called HefeleToons. My focus currently is on directing and the prepro field, including script and storyboard. I have been working as Character Designer since some years now, and had my hands in Marketing/PR for a while too.
