So I went and chose some stuff for the deviation I wanted. Sent you a PM on the Spider boards. I know I'll be completely in love with her once she's done (and the want to buy prints of her goes without saying).
additional notes: Anything not working for you can be changed, but I want to emphasize the use of one hand for the scimitar. It's important RPG mechanics wise.
As far as hair and facial features go I'll leave it up to you, though I'd prefer a more Setsuko esque face to a Minoko esque one.

Well I'm 37 so I've been drawing for about 34 years. 
All my color stuff is done in Photoshop, except for some parts of the Dragon Clan samuri in my gallery, which I did with Painter. I just use a couple different brushes and change opacity and flow as I work. I start with around 100% O and 80% F to do base color and then lower them as I highlight. I don't have an exact science going, I more just go with what feels good. The base drawing is always done in pencil and scanned in. I love to illustrate and have the real things sitting around, cluttering my desk.

I have a friend who does pro work and just uses the default brush for everything, actually. I want to look into using different brushes but I really only use a couple in the Standard brushes and one or two in one of the Natural brushes. Obviously having a digital tablet makes all the difference in the world.
I also recommend using Dodge/Burn sparingly and only for certain effects. A lot of artists have a tendency to rely on them for highlighting and shading when starting but they are obvious and don't do what you really want them to do.

Thanks digi. It's been a long time since I've really done any established characters. I used to when I was trying to get comic work. One of my nephews loves Teen Titans so I might just get to doing a Nightwing.

Just out of curiousity. I am a Korean and i see that your from the U.S. How did you know about Jeon Ji Hyun and Hyori lee? i only know she is very popular in Korea and korean ONLY. or are you korean fanatic? lol

I first saw Jeon Ji Hyun in My Sassy Girl. Then Windstruck and the rest of her movies. Hyori I just stumbled across while a few years back. I watch quite a lot of films from Japan/S. Korea/Taiwan/China/Hong Kong/Thailand and have had a lot of exposure to the music as well.

Is credited to Hong Janghyun and was used in a article called Sensual Talk. That this one: [link] is from a Calvin Klein ad campaign. This: [link] is from the Dark Angel cd. And there appears to be both brand new Jeon shots along with an old modeling picture.
Which is why I'm still not convinced that this account is legitimate.
I won't say I'm a Korean fanatic but the women are beautiful, yes.
