Hi, I haven't read the book in years so I have a question. I vaguely remember a story about an elf who wasn't good like all the others and kidnapped a female elf? Do you guys know who that was?

Very intriguing Maitimo Thumbs Up We're trying to stay non-movie based in the main gallery, but just opened a movie inspired folder in favorites since some of our members like movie designs enough to use them in the Silmarillion illustrations.

Thank you.And yes,I did notice the "movieinspired" folder.Well,I believe there are much more people who'd prefer to copy and multiply already created images(with copyright respect I presume....). A true artist always looking for and then follow his/her own unique vision,even if it does not sometimes please or match so called "public expectations". Have a nice day.

Can someone help me find one particular drawing of Morgoth/Melkor which I once found here on DeviantArt. Its coloured drawing and Morgoth has an elvish pale (almost blue) face with dark yellow eyes and black color around them; he also has a crown with silmarils and black armor with fish scale texture...

No. Morgoth's face is pretty beautiful, elvish, with menacing yellow eyes. The upper part of the body is depicted only (like portrait). He has some kind of elongation on right shoulder armour. Face is pale blue, there is some kind of dark coloration around eyes and mouth. Armour is like fish scales but dark-black. Background is blue as far as I remember. It is a very good depiction. I have searched for almost 6 hours today and failed to find it... Really appreciate your interest and effort. *P.s. He has a crown with silmarils of course.

I was looking for a colored drawing and that's the only one that had described elementas, though it's not a beautiful face, I agree. Nor beautiful Elvish, but it fits the elves from the old animated "Hobbit" ;) (Wink)

Fan art = done by fan, always real ;) (Wink) But is should be submitted into "dolls" section in dA (unless dA folders have changed) and in our club to favs, as I wrote. We just need to make final decision if we accept OOCs and if yes then on what basis.
