Hi Simon, you commented on an old comic page of mine way back in 2011 with this

"You need to work on your drawing. Figures and environments. You're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this page, but that isn't going to distract anybody from that problem. Keep it simple and prioritise the storytelling and the drawing.

I'm not singling you out here, 99.9% of all art submissions to 2000AD that I've seen have had serious problems with drawing. It may seem like a simple thing, but it's hard work to fix and you can't fake it.

Good luck."

I took this on board a lot over the past few years and I would really value any constructive criticisms you as a top professional in this industry we love since it's the only way i ever get better.

cheers for your time

I know you probably get this a lot, but I absolutely loved your work on Nikolai Dante. I never really liked the style of the other artist until I saw it done in your artwork and it soon became a fast favourite of mine. I see your other work is also stellar.

Many thanks for stirling work!

After reading today's 2000AD, I want a beachy, shirtless Nikolai Dante action figure with a swirly glass of brandy accesory.

I'm not sure how much more I can do. It gets pretty spoiler heavy from here on in.

Just "discovered" Nikolai Dante! Love your ability to draw all his facial expressions and body language so distinctly and charmingly.

And thanks for drawing in all the chest hair, too.

Ha! I think I'm going to get Carpal Tunnel doing all that body hair
Glad you appreciate it.
