Historical fashions are on my list of favorite things to study, so this was really fun to do!
The 20s is probably the most popular out of that set. Because FLAPPERS.
And that was a really fabulous cosplay! (Probably the best I've seen of Spain)

I agree. The boyish silhouettes tend to be some of my personal favorites, actually. Though I like mod fashion a little better, probably because of the geometric shapes and shorter skirts (which changed the proportions of the dresses).
But it makes sense, looking at what was occurring socially during those times.Β
You can even see a similar effect still happening today. I've noticed from personal experience that women's fashion in places like Asia is alot more feminine and girly than here in America, where pants are the default unless you feel like being a little dressy or something like that. (Except for the Phillippines. I have never seen my cousins Β in anything other than shorts...)Β And it makes sense when you look at the cultures, even if they are following some similar fashion trends.
