SO, in America, the difference as I understand it is that a College offers the basic Bachelors degrees, so they're only 2-4 years. A University has a "graduate school" as part of the campus, so either you can attend graduate school on campus, or go to a branch of the university, so you don't pay much more for tuition, opposed to going to a college and then transferring to a uni, which is more expensive. Does that make sense, haha?
