# About me
I use Indian ink and nibs in my works, hatching and cross-hatching is the technique. Watercolors too sometimes. But I want to highlight the fact that I don't work digitally, even though some might think so.I made a song, go and check it out

I remember your works as sharply as I remember the hopeless colors of the sky, on the afternoon of December 21, 2012.

Hey man. I remember seeing your art years ago and I remembered how striking and strangely moving they were, especially when paired with reading all the comments and descriptions. Just ended up remembering your work, which has to say something about your ability to have such a distinctive style that it can pop into memory from out of nowhere. Hope you're well.

I love the urban, gritty feel of your art. I love how you put the ponies in the city environment as well.

I'm so glad to see you back, friend..I got really worried when I read about the suicide attempt, but it seems to be better for you nowadays. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here for you!
Anyway, take good care of yourself.

Hey there. Uh, remember that pony picture you drew a long while ago with Twi and Spike titled Forgotten? Do you remember me telling you that it inspired me to write a story based of what I thought might have lead up to the picture? Well I've just re-written/modified the heck out of my pony fan-story based off your picture and now it's not related to my little pony with a rather different story.
However it still has the same feel as what I got from your picture. I'm trying to get my short story published and I was wondering if you would maybe be up to doing a commission so my shortstory has a cover art for it.
I was hoping I would pay and you would create an image kind of like the Forgotten image but without all the Hasbro copyright characters in it. Then I would have an image of my own I could use for the cover art of my story without worrying about getting sued by a corporate juggernaut like Hasbro. So I'm asking: Will you take my commission?

I don't know if you remember me but one of your pictures inspired me to write a story and I am still a fan of you're work. I don't know if this means anything to you but I'm letting you know I'll miss ya. Sorry you have to go.

Has anyone ever told you that you're amazing? I just wondered, since your style is amazing, your clearly a very inspired person, I know from personal experience that you're a very inspirational person, and you have the most incredible emotional resilience I have ever seen. I only found out about you and your struggle today, and already you have my undying respect as a artist and as a person. I hope you find happiness soon.
Just in case you haven't been told already, I'll tell you now.
You are amazing.

Speaking about your technique... When exactly do you do the coloring? As the very last step? One would think that the watercolour would smudge the ink. Also, it looks as if the ink was painted over the color.
Do you make rough sketches, fill the pony-shapes with colour and then draw with ink?

Whenever I see an industrial OR black and white pony picture, I know - this is our Russian man. Great art, keep it up!

KopaLeo In reply to AlnairLindalwe [2013-06-08 04:45:03 +0000 UTC]
How do you know he is Russian? In my mind his art is quite American flavored.
π: 0 β©: 1
AlnairLindalwe In reply to KopaLeo [2013-06-13 15:14:01 +0000 UTC]
Easy. His art is dark, depressive and very rich in details and strokes, while western pony art is usually clean and more or less lively. Grim mood is something russian pony artists have in common; not without exceptions of course, but in general.
And no, this does not mean the art is bad, quite on the contraty.

I know. That kind of style is something I'm trying to achieve.
That kind of style is visible in Western artists, especially when they are drawing about rebellious ponies in a city noir.

I used to have a form of hatred against pony. Then I saw your art. Thanks, your work is really interesting, your fan art or original work are really amazing. And your style, that's the first time I saw that in the pony fandom. Looks like a "serious" one, yet I like that a lot ! Thanks again

This is bad, I'm going around to everyone that draws any Pony art. Please spread the word, even if you're just a casual fan, this group shouldn't be allowed to get away with this sort of thing. Got this off Doxy's tumblr here: [link]
"If you must know, there is a troll online antibrony group called GNAA actively spoofing the email addresses of Hasbro lawyers and issuing false Cease and Desist notices. They got PurpleKecleonβs βHot to Trotβ doujin pulled, and tried to take down the flash with the special bonus image folio I made at TJA as well (not that it really matters since sales dry up after initial release and I leave leaks alone once they drop off). They have a long history and you can find out about them on Encyclopedia Dramatica, if thatβs your thing. The notice sent to doujinpress is not clear if it was a spoof or legit so they are playing it safe.
So the answer is, if you put it somewhere where this kind of thing can be pulled, reported or simply try to cause problems, there are people that really have nothing better to do than to do just that, no matter how insignificant the effect.
I found out about it from a friendly anonymous who knows an ex-GNAA member that this was on the mailing list: [link] I had told no one about the message I got about it from TJA earlier that day so I was pretty damn surprised to see this. There was no other way they could have known; there was no notice on the site or anything. According to their Twitter feed, theyβre also taking credit for nuking many clop tumblrs.
I also talked with one of the Hoofbeat artists and he said that they took pseudonyms and do limited print runs at conventions to avoid problems later. Donβt forget, that guy that made the Lyra plush got hit by a C&D as well that was probably unverified.
Even Zone gets real takedown notices from Cartoon Network and Nintendo. You almost have to keep it small in order to fall within parody law and other works. I know that a lot of people wonβt have the frame of reference to write about this or even know the details, so thatβs why I spoke up.
So thatβs something to consider. The more you know.β

I absolutely love your art and how exact and detailed are your sceneries, I've always loved the kind of black and white art with that tough of color
It's rare to find this kind of artists this days, I'm trying to experiment with ink but I'm failing miserably :/
Oh well, keep up on the good work, and I'm gonna watch you
