# About me
OHI. You can call me Socks or Eggy (or any of my various nicknames but let's leave it at that for now, yes-no?) and I'm what you might call a freelance artist. I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil and am self taught so I'm always learning. Although I will occasionally practice with digital I much prefer to work with traditional materials, good ol' pencil and paper for me.I tend to get very obsessed with my favorite movies/shows/characters which explains why you'll see a lot of fan art in my gallery. I'm particularly fond of traditional hand-drawn animation and grew up on classic Disney, Don Bluth, etc. My favorite movie of all time is The Lion King and I love Scar. X3
I'm a huge animal lover, a vegan and have been involved in rescue/foster work. I'm also a pretty active nature enthusiast and go hiking with my dogs on a regular basis. Speaking of which, I have four pupsters: a chihuahua named Foxy, a min pin/terrier mix named Cricket, a beagle named Nemo and a husky/collie mix named Wahya. I like doing photography and they're my favorite subjects.
