My caribou skin does shed a fair bit, but in order to prevent it from getting too raggy I don't use it as a rug. To be honest, I don't really use my furs for things I can use other materials for. I don't own any items of fur clothing, rugs, or bedding. I feel it is unnecessary to do so due to the higher number of animal lives it takes. I only have one of any species. My collection is really for getting familiar with the animals in the most realistic way possible (if I could afford them mounted I would). As it is, I have the next best thing to living wild animals, which clearly would not be feasible. And for the possum: if you're referring to the brown one, yes, it is extremely soft, unlike the American possum. What's more, it is an invasive species in New Zealand where I bought it, a threat to native birds, so I would very much recommend trying to obtain one.

:D (Big Grin) sure. A quick description of his: blue eyes, grey/silver fur, some black marks (kinda like a saddle on a german shepherd), lighter grey/white underbelly. Black nose...thin scar across his right eye. hhmm....I think that should be pretty good. Name is Sol-leks. And yes, he's a wolf. Actually, he's a person that can turn into a wolf, bu I usually draw him as a wolf as people aren't me forte. (no, he's not a werewolf though. It's a looonnggg story :P (Lick) ).

Have fun! Just be sure to put my name next to his picture. And it would be awesome if you linked the meme to me, so I can see it :D (Big Grin)

not particularly. He's just fairly light in color (more silver than dark grey), but he pretty much has traditional wolf markings. The darker forehead, dark marks under the eyes (kinda like a mask), the lighter feet/belly. Traditional :D (Big Grin) JUst the scar and the blue eyes are super specific to him. He's big too. LIke one of those 140-150 pounders.
