I'm trying so hard to come back and to draw more.. This is one of the few things that used to make me so happy. And it still does! ...when I.. learn not to worry so much and just let myself go where my pencil and current abilities will take me.
It's hard for me to accept that things take time, because.. I've been taught and I have learned to be terrified of failure. It is something that continues to be incredibly difficult to shake, and having anxiety as a bonus doesn't help.
I'm amazed frankly anyone's still watching this page... but for the few who still are, thank you for sticking by me. It means a lot.

Hey, SomeRedDome! I just wanted to ask you for a favor. You see, I'm trying to determine what everyone's favorite part about season five of MLP was. I just posted ten pictures that include ten categories involving different aspects of the season. For example, there's Best New Character, Best Song, Best Episode, etc. I just need some help getting more votes for those categories. All you have to do is comment which nominee in which category you want to see win. For example, if the nominees for Best New Character were Countess Coloratura, Marble Pie, Moon Dancer, Starlight Glimmer, and Tree Hugger, and you wanted Marble Pie to win, you would comment here name and that would count as a vote. I love the way you draw lips too, like hot damn they're beautiful >_< I'm still struggling with making them look good like that.
And oh god, NOSES. AUGH. I'm trying so hard to get them right, THEY'RE SUCH A PAIN, YOU ARE RIGHT. And that's basically why I still don't think I draw goblins very well cause I'm still adjusting to the noses. :I Shamine and Del know how to do it, though... and Del's noses are just so awesome, augh. Zanz' nose is adorable.

But i just love your goblins! At least you can DO the noses, i just make them look ridiculous, then i give up. XP The lips i don't think their all that great, i just try to make them look pretty. Your goblins are just so hug-gable!Β

Hey sweetie! Please excuse me as I wasn't able to get back to you sooner!
I think it's very sweet and kind of you to ask, and I'm touched. I'm sorry the situation has worried you to this point, and I'd like to help put some of those fears at ease.
Shamine is doing alright, I have regularly been talking to her since she left. It's not that she doesn't appreciate her fans and friends, she has just been under a lot of stress both personal and professional.. and after a lot of thought, she decided to disconnect from dA for a while (because despite it being a nice source to spend with the community, it's also socially exhausting and time-consuming).
But I hope you don't worry. <3 And trust me, there are times when she misses dA (or at least it sounds like it a little bit!)-- and it still seems to very much be on her mind-- she did not lie when she said she will eventually come back, but she would also like to have something to show when she returns. <3 It's a personal stake for her, and since her time is limited and split between work and family right now, it's probably going to take a while..
But in the meantime, I know she'd like to know-- and I'd personally like -you- to know-- that she reads all the well-wishes from everyone on dA. She hears you guys, and the effort is appreciated. You guys are really special and kind. <3 So thak you.
Eventually she'll be back. I can't say what changes she'll make, but either way, I do know she hasn't stopped drawing. She's still practicing and trying... and eventually she'll have a nice amount to share with you guys again. <3
In the meantime, don't you stop drawing either.. okay? <3
