# About me

Heyo, I'm Madeleine, but please, just call me Whiskey. I'm just your average girl who wants to become a professional artist one day. I love drawing, and like to write in my spare time about the many whimsical and sometimes nonsensical stories I've made up over the years. I'm usually inspired by fantasy themes and love to try to drag my ideas from my mind and copy them down for others to see. Usually my pieces don't turn out quite like I want them, but it doesn't stop me from trying! Little by little I've gotten better over the years and I recently came to the conclusion that I want to pursue my passion as a career.

Otherwise, I enjoy gaming and chatting with my friends. Horseback riding is a favorite hobby of mine and in turn I love to draw them. Languages are fascinating to me, and I wish to be fluent in several at some point in my life, especially Gaelic (both Irish and Scottish forms). Metal, especially folk metal are often my music choices, but orchestrated pieces are another favorite. Classic rock and Irish pub are used for inspiration as well. Yeah, weird taste I know, but it's what I enjoy.

So, yeah, this is me. I love animals and they are commonly my muses. I have many critters of my own and they help with inspiration and anatomy from time to time. I enjoy the dark and macabre, but also the merry and sweet. I welcome constructive criticism, so please feel free to leave a comment on any of my pieces and let me know what you liked or didn't like about them.
