But then I stop trying. Because what nobody tells you, is that it's not even there. It's the greatest trick the universe ever pulled. And I fall for it every time.
By the time I remember it's all a lie, I've already tore my heart apart trying to get there.
At least when I feel it, even if I can't touch it, it reminds me I do have a soul.
