Thanks for the comment. The lighting is just a box with oblong emitters inside, covered with a thin plastic. Thea Render does the rest.

Sorry to pick your brain but oblong emitters? Did you use any spot or point lights in that render or self-illuminated materials?

Ah sorry, just looked at your forum & see you already know about Thea.

No problem! The emitter is just another way of saying self-illumination. I think there were over one hundred of them in the scene. No point or spot lights.

Maybe have a play with the demo of Thea Render & some example scenes? It is an "unbiased" render engine, so you get true physical lighting.

Soo I had a look at your forum. It seems very interesting. Your private website?

Private? Not sure what you mean. I own it if that was it. But insofar as who can join it's open to the public.

Aha, thanks that's what I wondered about. I have been thinking along the same lines. I haven't looked very closely on your site yet, but it seems to have a lot of functions, forum uolading and such. Is it difficult to set up a site like this? Is this just a hobby of yours or is it something you can make a living out of?

Setting up a message board can be a time consuming experience. Depending on what platform you use it also can be a little costly. I use vBulletin and that seems to be the most popular platform. There are endless mods available for it and the native functionality can't be beat but the license will run you $300. But it would cost you nothing to join my site!
