Yeah I use Vray 1.5 RC3 for rendering and the software i use for making the animated gifs is aniMake, it's Freeware but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to do something more than just small gifs with like 25 frames.
And I don't think I can teach you anything, I looked at your gallery and your stuff is far more advanced than anything by me, I really like it!
