thanks alot! i stopped doing it because it's a temporary art form. the bleach weakens the cloth so much that it eventually eats right through the fabric.

Seems like as soon as you have your design the way you want, you'd have to immediately plunk it in some water, but even then couldn't leave it in too long or it would spread out and get on other parts of the shirt - @ What a volatile process! lol

random fact, did you know that some species of pseudoscorpions (bookscorpions) have a venom gland in their manus (pedipalp "finger")?! i think it's the only animal i can think of with venom in a claw!

I did know that and I can't think of another animal with that particular feature, neither.

well i'd say you should set up environments they enjoy even more then books. maybe set up an environment that caters to their food so they'll be attracted. and some arachnids (i know of one scorpion, can't think of it's name) that can become pregnant without mating (can't think of the word). so with my lack of knowledge on pseudoscorpions there might be a species that can become gravid without breeding.

If there are any of her babies till around, they find the books very much to their liking, they are true book scorpions (Chelifer cancroides) and food is not an issue...I breed fruit flies and bean weevils, some always escape.
As far as I know, there are no parthenogenetic pseudoscorpion species - but with so many species, who knows what may be discovered.
