# About me

I specialize in portraits of creatures I have actually met and/or photographed myself, as well as subjects I simply think are beautiful. I work mainly in acrylics, but also use Photoshop. I am still learning lampworking, woodworking, sculpting, and anything else I hear about. I have work in various places on the web, like Café Press and Zazzle and a couple others I can't remember.
I have only one Pembroke Welsh Corgi now and one Blue Heeler, who help by contributing drifting hairs that stick to paint and by chewing up anything left within their reach. My new kitten helps by appearing out of thin air and flying across my work space.
I have retired from official employment at last! I have been learning to paint figurines, all of animals, which is much more difficult than I thought it would be. I have learned a lot more about animal anatomy through this practice than in all my years of living with them.
