My name is Tarren. The things I know will scare the weak of heart. If I told you our world ended on Thursday, June 23rd 1921, would you believe? If I told you that our world fell not with a giant clash of arms, but with a tiny whimper of one small innocent soul passing from this earth, would you stop to listen? Our creator fell asleep when not enough believed in him anymore. Love was attacked, soulmates were sundered, and evil spread like wildfire. With all the true soulmates broken and scattered, there was no longer an example of love for the world to follow. This was how Darkness claimed our world.

In this life I was cursed before I was born, for the events of those who came before me, had already sealed my fate. I would fight on, victory or death, there is no other way, but no one would head my warnings, blank stares and deaf ears is all that ever greeted me. On top of it all I could not find her. I lost my way in the dark a long long time ago, and there was nothing I could do. I fell away before a storm the likes of which this world has never seen before. It is the kind of storm that tears the heart, shatters the mind, and erodes the soul. Without Marion at my side I had not the strength to carry on. Darkness won, and hope was extinguished.

Something has changed, memories of lives once lived, and visions of future worlds collide within me and I am compelled to write. If upon the eve of the breaking of our world, my tales of past and future times allow just one new set of soulmates to find each other; then perhaps they might be enough to turn the tide. Love breeds belief, and if enough people believe, our creator might awaken and the tide would turn.
