# About me

I was born in a small town in South Africa and have lived my whole life on a farm and this constant connection to nature has a strong influence in my art. In my early high school years, I decided that I wanted to be an artist, because I have been painting and drawing different things in all my school books and when I had the opportunity to do visual arts as one of my subjects in high school, I grabbed it with both hands. There I learned how to paint, and draw was and still is inspired by the impressionist and the world of digital art and did a brief course in animation. Now I am is studying fine arts and illustration at Ruth Prowse School of Art in Cape Town in South Africa. I create traditional artworks, digital art and illustration. I also have an interest in photography. I paint a lot of nature scenes, landscapes and play with fantasy/realism in my art in both digital and traditional my photography is a combination of what I find interesting or beautiful.
