May I point out, tracing is intellectual property theft. Intellectual property theft can be charged as simple as a fine of $300 or more, all the way up to 5 years in prison. Tracing does indeed count as intellectual property theft and you can be taken down for such.

They did not give you permission, you can be taken down for not giving them any credit and claiming it's all your "own" work. That is still intellectual property theft and you still can face its charges.
