aww thank you..
Hmm well it depends how I do my works. But usually I use Paint tool Sai as first step <- I draw line art with that program and color it there too. When coloring is ready, I switch to Photoshop cs5 and edit colors a little bit and may add some color effects/details too if need, because for me that's easier to do in Photoshop!

and hmm style? You mean.. half realistic style or .. characters who looks like this [link] ? ..I'm just thinking about that " any tips" question.:3

ah uh I use normal settings in brushes actually XD
It's easier to tell with pics~
Line art/sketch: [link]
Basecolors/Shadows: [link]

Hair details (top layer): [link]

then I switch to Photoshop. :3
Those bling bling effects: [link]
Layer's blending options/effects: [link]

then top layer again: and I add colors so it will look like this: [link] and then I put layer option to "Soft light" and it will look like this: [link]

and yeah in the end I only play with layer settings and some options image -> adjustments -> selective color/ Hue/saturation and etc. :3

When you start coloring, do you color underneath the lineart?

I keep them of course~! If I do realistic works I paint lines away using top layers, but never remove lines, just hide them.. XD
