If you do get one I recommend looking into storage bin cages, i made mine a double layer bin cage with ladders connecting the 2 floors and he is constantly running up and down. He sleeps on the smaller top floor and plays on the bottom xD

tbh this is a very in the future project, geting a hanster, but I wanna make a DIY glass tank and make it like, super huge! XD Maybe along the entire lenght of a wall. Then the hamster will haev lots to explore and be happy, and I will have lots to decorate XD 
There's this hamster owner on youtube called HoppingHammy and I really love the natural look of their hamster cages owo

I wanted to try making a diy glass cage but couldnt afford the $100+ ikea thing needed for the project xD ill probably do it in the future when i have a job but the double layer bins seem to make current hammy happy enough.
