Also fun fact: In actual TF2 Lore, Jay Pinkerton mentions in tweet of 2015 confirms that it just Nine Mercenaries, like RED/BLU Mercs are completely the same person, no clones, no differentiate for the non-game fiction (Shorts, comics, posts) there's only one Scout, one Soldier and etc. No clones. In the comics and not in-game universe because meet the team videos are not actually canon but everything is a mess. They changed their team colored uniforms everyday for more variety of their battles and when the Robot invasion begins, they joined RED that way they'll avoid the confusion of robots.Β

I don't why but I liked the comic more than the game, they could've make the Robots gray instead of BLU, that way they can make RED and BLU Mercs teamed up to defeat them. On Helltower where the Mann brothers rehired the Mercs to pit against each-other and sent Redmond or Blutarch to hell but they don't want too because they enjoy their killing sport, which is a stalemate but the whole lore thing was a complete mess and RED and BLU bases are just fronts for the cover ups for Mercenary activity.
Speaking of which, I made some of my 2 TF2 AUs, one is where the RED team were the originals in 1960s and the BLU team were clones considering how many those clones were, they lived in seperated BLU Bases, so. The tables have turned and they have superior circumstances and skilled then the BLU team which explains why they're winning so much they got paid the most but some few battles, BLU wins in some ways but RED wins the most or a lot, and RED is offensive and BLU is defensive. In 1970s, the RED team sent Blutarch to hell and grabbed the spell book first to escaped from hell up to the surface leaving the BLU team trapped in hell forever before the Robot invasion began and it always the RED team who defends the facilities and killed them all (well some).
2 it just Redmond hired few new recruits and so is Blutarch convinced them to fight over to take over their half land, they switched to both teams depending on their variety so they just basically, killing each-other in every battles whatsoever. The mercs didn't care about killing each-other on both sides but they care each-other like a family but insults, offensive and etc. As I was saying about the helltower, both mercs don't want to sent each-other to hell leaving that as a stalemate and when the Robot invasion begins, RED and BLU joined forces, teaming up to defeat the robots while defending any Mann.Co facilities and yes, RED is offensive meaning they just push the cart to the BLU base to explode and capturing their control points and BLU is defensive trying to prevent that happening.Β
Soldier is Immortal because he eat Merasmus' pills before he got hired by Mann.Co (that would be my guess). Both Mercs (meaning RED and BLU teams) are immortal execpt medic because he made a deal to the devil promise that he'll placed ground-breaking technology inside of them and stole 8 souls of them which make them immortal (although, Soldier is already immortal) in my second AU after they defeat the classic 1930s mercs. My first AU is RED team are immortal execpt medic after defeated all the classic mercs.
