It's about a world after death, named Arteria, kinda like Bleach, except that it's an entirely different planet from Earth, where magic and life peacefully co-exist (until the story gets going).

After dying on Earth, you wake up in another world the same age as when you died. Basically a literal continuation of your life after death. Any injuries you had when you died are instantly healed upon arrival to the world

In this world, low-level magic can be used without catalysts, but for higher level spells the use of special items and/or crystals is required.

You can also consume these crystals to gain more magical power...at the cost of your body or mind. Consuming crystals causes one's body to mutate into demonic forms, or other kinds of body horrors. Some can even turn you into a complete different creature with your mind intact (if you're lucky).

For example, if a Hawk, Rat, Dog, or Fish were to eat a crystal, they could become monsters, demons, humanoids, or other kinds of creatures. Consuming more crystals afterward would make the body continue to transform.

To give a perfect example, there is one character who is a humanoid who was once a hawk. (One of the main characters, named Aisuru Senka (The last name is not Japanese, despite it's looks.))

Anyhow, the story follows the adventures of Jamal, a young man who was out hunting, and died getting mauled by a grizzly bear (which he killed before dying of blood loss from the wound to his stomach) He wakes up in Arteria and finds himself laying next to a lance.

He then meets a humanoid girl named Holly, (who has features similar to a Smilodon and after meeting her, they soon set off on an adventure to keep Holly safe.

The first villain they meet (whose name I made) is Viktor Realtacht (his last name is Irish for Reality) who is a human transformed beyond recognition into a dragon by the power of crystals.

Not much here either. Going to be starting JCCC in the Fall. Been trying to do more texture hacking on Brawl characters, and am even wanting to try hacking Vertexes on the polygons so that I can change a character's shape. The one I'm wanting to do the most being turning Sonic into Mecha Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

In the meantime. I have finally made something up on S.H.R.O.U.D.

I made him fit into the fantasy RP he had started (but never really kicked off or so I assume).

BIO: Turned into a cyborg by (insert name of villain of the week here) with Magic Technology. S.H.R.O.U.D.'s personality is a far cry from his original organic self. In fact, its hard to say he has a personality, as he shows no signs of having one. He has become calculating and unfeeling, like a machine.

Having turned against and destroyed the one whom had made him what he is now. It is unknown what his objectives now are, or whether he really has any. In spite of the fact his Crobnjak (comes from the Croatian language, means Wizard) Driver, and multitude of Magitech weapons makes him more than a match for any ordinary monster or man, he appears content to follow the Chiaki sisters around.

The cyborg, with his red, bionic eye glowing, look ahead at the beast, not so much as blinking when it bellowed an ear-splitting cacophony from it's throat. He searched through the files in his electronic brain, and chose the weapon that would dispose of the creature. Then out came a single phrase: a pass code, one he had gained by reading the time from earlier.

"Mana, is life."

A voice in his head reported in the affirmative as he raised his right arm...Which then exploded to pieces. The pieces were held fast in mid air, and they began to reform a new shape in the arm's place with incredible speed. In the midst of all this, a mist began forming around SHROUD.

The shoulder became a wide, royal purple cylinder, with two chrome pipes sticking out the back, and a small bubble dome containing what looked like a power source.. A thin stalk of metal, no more than 3/4 of a foot thick attached itself to the shoulder drum, which was followed by a spherical mechanism that could only be recognized as the joint, a silver color. Another purple cylinder formed on the joint, thinner and longer than the shoulder, about a foot in diameter. Nine more, smaller cylinders formed, they looked to be pistons of some sort, with spiked nodes on top of each. A dial with three lights, which ere currently off, also came to be.

A thinner cylinder appeared, black this time: the shaft, and a rim followed, then the rest of the head, shaped like an down-turned Styrofoam cup, came to be. A hole, and inside, a drill bit made of three pieces could be seen.

The head spun at high velocity, a test to make sure it was functioning. The cyborg then posed, the right arm bent, staring straight ahead without so much as a twitch in his face.

"Carobnjak Driver, Activated." was his monotone announcement.

The beast glowered at him fiercely, slightly intrigued by this.

*Cue the action scene!*

*Insert anime music for action scene here.*

The cyborg brought his arm out in front with a fierce swing, bent before him. "The Ultima-level spell to be performed has been confirmed. Prepare thine self for annihilation." The shaft began to spin faster and faster as he said this, coming to speed, the pistons pumping in and out with reckless abandon.

"The power that reduces all to cinder: Fire."

A red light showed itself on the, and the node son three of the pistons began to glow red, as did the wind that began to form around the head as its speed increased further, the whine from the spinning shaft was oscillating around the area.

"The energy that flows through Gaia: Earth."

A green light appeared, three nodes glowed green, and the color became visible in the wind, the Driver began to roar with the shrill whine of a drill. The beast was preparing to leap forward, trying to gain a vantage point from which to pounce it's adversary before it.

"The power that rules the sky with an iron fist: Lightning."

The power source shone brilliantly as it began alternating between three colors with blinding speed: fire red, earthen green, and lightning yellow, steam began to blast out of the chrome pipes violently as the final color was added. The dial was spinning wildly now, all three colors seeming to blend into one another, the pistons glowing, and pumping almost faster than the eye can comprehend. The Driver's whine became deafening with it reaching peak velocity. The mist seemed to gather at the head, as it split into four pieces, and pulled back, revealing the brilliantly shining drill bit.

The cyborg brought its arm up, as if he was preparing to plunge the weapon into the ground.

"Crash, quake, immaculate! Ultima-Spell of Devastation!"

The weapon pierced the ground, silence, nothing moved, not even the beast, as if time had taken a breath and began to wait. The battle machine called out the spell's name.

"Olympus Vesuvia!"

A thundering quake began, the sky darkened as lightning began to twist in the sky, crackling with thunder. Then the thing that gave the spell its name appeared around SHROUD with a deafening explosion as the quake continued. Fire blazed forward all around him in a wave, rushing forward, and another wave plumed from the epicenter, raining down burning stone and gravel upon every thing within a two mile radius.

Everything was eradicated, including the beast, whom was burned to cinder, and out of the giant field of burning inferno came the cyborg, as stone faced as ever, as he uttered a statement.

"Target elimination successful, objective complete."

He then walked away from the burning wildfire with out so much as a word, as the building he had been in: a castled, and the surrounding trees and grassland burned to nothing.

*End*
