I haven't made much in the past year, mainly because of artist block and depression. However, I've been getting back to it recently and just need to get back into the groove of making 3D art.
I looked at your profile and I like a lot of what you've made!  Recently, in college, I have been learning and practicing some still life 2D art. It'll be important to learn that stuff because 2D can help out making 3D work.

Keep up the great work! I cannot wait to see more of your artwork

If you're still working on learning anatomy, I'd recommend "Figure Drawing: Design and Invention" by Michael Hampton. Also, I've learned a lot about color theory from watching youtube. Kienan Lafferty is pretty good. Anyways, good luck!

I use the full version of ZBrush.
It's an expensive program, like $800 expensive, but there is a cheaper version called ZBrush Core. It's all the essentials of a beginner's needs to start for only $100.
