Today, I finally found out what laid the first chicken egg. I had always been on the side of the egg coming before the chicken in the Great “Who Came First” Debate, and now I can finally provide the answer to the argument against it! The first chicken egg was laid by a domesticated junglefowl hen somewhere in India.

I totally understand! A lot happened while you were away. For starters, we got a new puppy! He is a red mini labradoodle, his name is Steve and he is heartmeltingly adorable.
Also I might be getting a cat. His name is Casper.

Omg Steve that's my favorite thing. xD But he sounds so cute! I looove puppies. I got myself a service dog, but I got him shortly before my hiatus.
Unfortunately I cannot get a cat with him. His ultimate goal is to catch and eat all of the kitties. ;7; I want one so bad but he won't allow it.

He's only twelve weeks old and he's already a master at winning hearts. It helps that he's a sweetheart personality-wise, though his teething is making him want to chew on anything he can. XD He is a young child in dog years after all.
Thankfully Casper is an adult cat, not a kitten. Speaking of kittens, on Christmas Eve of 2018 a friend of my mom's came over for a visit and brought her new pet kitten along with her (this was before we got Steve, by the way). Until that day I had never held a real kitten before in my life. Shortly after I started holding her and sitting down, she fell asleep on my lap. CUTEST. THING. EVER.

They sure are the bestest!! The kitten in question would later be named Roxy, and she’s a grey tabby. I have always, always loved kittens so I am very happy that I got to hold one, let alone have one sleeping on my lap! It was a Christmas Miracle! Literally! XD

Just make sure to do a little research on the breeds you want. Some breeds are nicer than others and the hardiness does matter in most climates. Luckily it's not too difficult.
They really do! I may have already mentioned this but I have owned 3 and they were such sweet boys. I hate that we had to get rid of them. And I see how badly roosters are often treated and how hated they are and it makes me sad knowing they actually can be sweet animals given the right socializing and care.

*nods* Right then, your dinosaur fun fact: Did you know that the "she" in "She sells Seashells by the Seashore" refers to Mary Anning, a famous fossil collector, dealer and paleontologist from 19th century England? She was a poor woman living near the fossil rich seashores and cliffs in Lyme Regis, and she made a number of major discoveries like the first complete skeleton of an ichthyosaur, a near complete skeleton of a plesiosaur, the second pterodactyl ever, and a number of others. She also helped pioneer the study of coprolites (also known as fossilized dinosaur poop). However, because she was a poor woman she had to sell her discoveries to survive and with it the credit for her work. Her story is fascinating and I recommend you look her up!

Here's another random fact: Northern Italians tend to be harder workers compared to Southern Italians. Much of the reason why has to do with the influence of Austria vs. the influence of Spain. For the same reasons, Southern Italians tend to have less respect for authority figures compared to Northern Italians.
