EEEK LOVED IT. I honestly thought it was going to be shit but it was so funny and had a lovely story line. It had a lot of exposition *cuts to nostalgia critic reference* which made me cringe a little but honestly the best Disney movie I've watched in a while. Shame it's shadowed by Frozen. I mean, that thing came out like 2 years ago and it had such a weak story line (in my opinion anyway)

I thought Frozen was a bit too sugary and completely unoriginal...well, at least for me. But Big Hero 6 was so much better than I thought it would be! 
But yeah, the exposition was a bit much. (I think I actually made a NC reference in the cinema when we were first watching it...xD and then I spent the next minute chuckling quietly to myself because I am oh so clever

Blergh it's so bland and sugary and Anna is a cool girl stereotype and Elsa has no personality. they tried to make them too perfect, so they're not even the tiniest bit interesting. And I have a hard time believing that they have a genuine sisterly connection. And the whole film, just, ugh.

Like, wow plot twist. Bad guy was the prince. Woop di freakin doo. (Oh yeah, might I add, they want him to be the bad guy, yet they sell figures of him along with the other three. Like, that's what every little boy/girl wants to play with. The douchebag prince.)
Why couldn't they have added an interesting story to him or something? Like, okay, Anna falls in love with Kristoff and then goes back to the palace. She explains the Hans that she can't marry him anymore as she hardly knows him/she's fallen in love with someone else. The, he could be upset but totally okay with it and maybe even find himself someone else at the end, or he could have idk turned evil because of that and then finally realised that what he was doing was wrong and gotten over it.
I mean, so Anna could have actually walked away from him from her own choice not 'OOOHH HE'S A NASTY MEANY I DON'T WANT TO MARRY HIM ANYMORE THAT ONLY LEAVES ME THE OTHER GUY YAY HARD DECISION OVER TEEHEE I'M A PRINCESS. OHH CAKE TEEHEE'

Yeah "we're so original, oooh look she meets a prince and they fall in love immediately but OOOOH LOOK HE'S THE BAD GUY NOW HATE HIM. DO IT. HE'S HORRIBLE HATE HIM. LOOK WE'RE SO ORIGINAL. MOCKING THE DISNEY CLICHES. WE'RE CLEVER AND UNIQUE. EVEN THOUGH EVERY CHARACTER IN OUR MOVIE IS EITHER BLAND AND BORING OR ANNOYING, EVEN THOUGH OUR MAIN CHARACTER IS THE MOST BASIC WHITE GIRL CLICHE THAT HAS EVER LIVED, EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE LOOKS SO SUGARY PRETTY AND BLAND - THEY EVEN LOOK BLAND, JESUS - EVEN THOUGH ALL THE FEMALE CHARACTERS LOOK THE SAME, EVEN THOUGH WE COMPLETELY FAILED AT PORTRAYING SCANDINAVIA AND THE SPIRIT OF THEIR MYTHOLOGY, WE'RE STILL COMPLETELY ORIGINAL."
ok, mocking Disney cliches would be...ok, I guess, if they didn't shove it into out faces so much. If Anna and Hans' romance wasn't so obviously forced, if there wasn't so obviously something wrong with it. Like jesus christ, where's the subtlety? (did I spell that right? Idc) They're not even TRYING. This movie is just so...lazy, in every way. Lazy with the character designs, plot twists, dialogue, story, everything. But the audience loves it, of course. Because the audience loves mainstream.
And they didn't even bother to research the scandinavian mythology and culture properly. The film's visual style is so...clean and pretty, almost like a Barbie movie, goddammit! The scandinavian mythology is rough, wild, not cute and elegant. Have you seen their trolls, their fairies, their historical architecture? Elsa's palace looks like something straight out of a Barbie movie. Just no. It's like when people draw Icelandic horses on souvenir pictures and make them all thin and pretty. Like, no. No. Have you seen an icelandic horse? These things can eat you. They're short and muscular and have huge butts and eat people.

Also SNOW IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SHADED WITH PINK OR BLUE. EVER. NO.

I went into a Disney store and the only merch they had of it was a tiny Baymax plushie.

And people still buy it and make it a hit. Hell, they sell Frozen shirts IN SLOVENIA. When you live here, you understand what a big miracle that is. It's insane.
(oh and just as the friggin candle on the cake, the Nostalgia Critic loves it! Yeah, he thinks Frozen is amazing, and loves the characters and all, and thinks the movie is flawless and fangirls over it. I love the guy, you know I do, but this is really testing my patience.)

Yeah....but i still can't bring myself to hate Annie. She reminds me of my Lio a bit, but that's only because they both have pale blonde hair and like to work alone and because Annie's last name is Leonhart (I'm not sure if i remember correctly, but i think it's something like that, yeah). But otherwise they're not really alike....at all. But still, I like Annie.
