What IS Thir13nth Hour?13th Hour is a Kingdom Hearts II Fan Doujinshi created by Nehku , redbirthday , and HatterRenoAxel .
A long time ago, what started out as a harmless RP session of AU and canon-divergent versions of characters, quickly turned into quite the epic storyline... Somewhere during this, Red and DE9 thought it would be a brilliant idea to turn it into a doujinshi project. This idea was turned around for a number of years, eventually dragging in the Hatter as well. So now, we bring Thir13enth HouR to you:
Divergent from the end events of Chain of Memories and bridging into those of KH2, after the fall of Castle Oblivion, Roxas and Namine are still under care of the nefarious Organization XIII. Xemnas is able to open Kingdom Hearts, but something goes horribly wrong. When he is expelled, not only is he changed figuratively, but Roxas is changed literally--marked with a mysterious series of symbols and runes across his back. To keep their thirteenth member placid while they attempt to reopen Kingdom Hearts again, Roxas is kept in a virtual world while they research the mark left upon him, believing it to be the key to their goals.
While they work, Axel frees Roxas, who in a blind rage, destroys Namine for the aid she'd given the organization to ensure his imprisonment. Then turning on Axel, he blames the other for allowing it all come to pass in the first place. With that Roxas storms out, leaving a large portion of the castle in shambles. Changing his appearance, Roxas dropped part of his name and referred to himself as Xas from then on...
Axel easily explains Roxas's disappearance as having been /Namine's/ fault, not his. It works as the perfect cover story. But with their witch dead and their key to Kingdom Hearts missing, Xemnas is less than pleased. So their search begins...
--through a tight squeeze, Xas finds his way into another realm that doesn't exist in any of their records. There, a young man is escaping his responsibilities, eager to relax. The two cross paths almost accidentally. The rest is history...
