Hi Chris, thanks for all of the favs and positive feedback! Yes, I'm a big fan of Nick Harris. His work looks very traditional and a lot like watercolor to me. I definitely appreciate the comparison (especially as a recent graduate)! I imagine any technical similarities are linked to our approach since we both probably have a background of learning to paint and draw in traditional mediums. Nowadays, I almost always use Photoshop, sometimes coupled with a scanned-in pencil sketch, but most of the time I just begin in Photoshop. Thanks again!

Well, your joke is much funnier now that I know you go there too! I was thinking to myself: now that's a pretty bold way to approach a stranger. I work in the 3D lab and I've sat through the toy design class several times. Fall semester is usually whatever you'd like to make with a general theme, and Spring semester is usually dedicated to the Hasbro competition. It's definitely worth checking out.

Thanks Kirsten! Hope you're doing well and landing some great jobs or/and entering some great grad classes. Congrats on the early graduation! I just have my last two left this coming semester. Lately, I haven't been focusing on my web presence much either. Just a lot of studying anatomy and making new work. I actually did those pieces you commented on last summer, and still haven't gotten around to posting work from last semester. Ah, well... I'll be posting here and there soon!
