• Bats carry many diseases such as Ebola, rabies, and the Nipah virus but despite the amount of diseases the bat’s benefits for our ecosystem outnumber them.
• Bats play many important roles in agriculture development, ecosystems located around the world critical for food security, human population growth, and genetic diversity, pollinate, forest regeneration, and also insect and pest control.
• Deforestation and urbanization cause risks of increased human and bat interactions, such interactions will lead to more disease spreading.
• If this continues with no solution bats could possibly go extinct.
• Genetic diversity will head towards an increased resilience to pest and disease.
• Newman wants this misunderstanding about bats so that a new more sustainable agriculture development practices ones that take bats into consideration can happen.
• The future is hitting a balance between increased population growth and urbanization and the bats roles.
• The variety of different bat species represents the 20% of the biodiversity of mammalian species.

Allot of people have misunderstood bats from folklore and they diseases they carry making them seem a useless existence and dangerous but quite the opposite actually. Bats play important roles in our ecosystems around the world, they are critical for food security, agriculture development, human population growth, genetic diversity, pollinate, forest regeneration, and also insect and pest control. • It’s a process called Marine cloud brightening where once hurricanes have been merged through moisture and warm ocean surface temperatures to form. When the ocean surface temperatures are decreased, the strength of a storm is also destroyed.
• Marine cloud brightening also doubles the reflectiveness in the clouds this invents a cooling effect as more sunlight is reflected back space instead of heating up the ocean’s surface.

• Their still needs to be more research and development done on how the process would work.
• Gadian, one of the scientists predicts a potential drawback could be rainfall in nearby areas where reduced rainfall could be problematic.

TransCanada signs deal to build operates 900- megawatt Ontario power plant Point Form Notes:
• The Ontario power authority signed a contract with TransCanada to own and operate a gas-fired generating station that was supposed to be located in Oakville not Kingston.
• The Progressive Conservatives and New democrats are accusing the government of hiding the true cost of the plant in Oakville and also the other in nearby Mississauga.
• The two cancellations are appromately 1 billion, not 230 billion dollars.
• They could have found out the actual cost if McGuinty hadn’t prorogued the legislature just hours before public hears into failed projects.
• The Tories wanted to know why they were building the power plan close to Lennox generating station.
• Not receiving any information on why the two projects were cancelled the Parliament eventually forced the documents to be revealed.
• TransCanada stated that the new Nappanee plant shall give out approximately 600 construction jobs.
• The plan will operate under a 20-year power purchase arrangement with the OPA.
