hmmm. That could be the Impressionist Pierre Auguste Renoir, or his son Jean Renoir, the director, since Film is a visual art.

Or it could be yet someone else entirely whose name is Renoir.

In any event, I admit that I often cannot distinguish a Renoir from a Monet.

You flatter me! :) (Smile) . Surely if I had an impressive knowledge of art, I would be able to tell the difference between a Renoir and a Monet (without looking at the signature!)

If it's any consolation, I can tell the difference between a Mary Cassatt and a Jackson Pollock in a side-by-side comparison.
