You and whatever attachment (be it all of you awesome friends/brother/girlfriend (Is it degrading to call them attachment? @@)) are invited to my super-special 30th Birthday Pardy in good ol' Germany. It it's on Saturday the 9th of August and the Motto is "Retro series from 70s/80s//90s" (such as A-Team, Scooby Doo, Knight Rider, etc. whatever xD) and if you decide to actually come that far all across the North Sea I recommend strongly to have a fitting costume.  I'd provide a place to crash as well... we just have to snuggle up real tight. xDDD

But don't feel pressured/oblidged into coming!!! Sweden isn't just around the corner after all. And it's on such short notice as well... v__V Just thought that I shouldn't leave you out of thi... besides we have plenty of cake which just has to be eaten by someone (I'm so not bribing... absolutely not. xD)

First things first: happy-belated-birthday-even-though-actual-celebrations-are-ahead-of-us! A convention came in between but now I've got the travel arrangements made. Right, we'll be arriving at Cologne airport (CGN) at 17.05 on Friday 8/8, and we'll leave from the same airport at 18.55 on Monday 11/8. (I know I said Katta needed to be back for work on Monday... but dude you should've seen the price tags on the Sunday flights. x'D So she's "ill" on Monday but sshhh I'd never talk my girlfriend into sneaking off from work for a trip to Germany... ) We'll be trying to fit ourselves into backpacks so we can skip the waiting-for-checked-in-luggage-routine that takes forever and go straight to the exit, you shouldn't have to wait very long. I think we'll just look for a welcome-sign, walk past and pretend like nothing and then launch a surprise attack from behind...

Omg I laughed so much - I just picture you like a drill sergeant barking out English verb conjugations in front of a group of sweating students that repeat after you. xD (There may or may not be a riding crop involved in that fantasy: I can't help but wonder what "teaching methods" you would employ...) It'll be fine, we're not native speakers either: I'm told by reliable New Zealander sources that I speak with a Swedish accent (and I happen to find German-accented English kinda cute 'cause it makes everyone sound like an American movie villain).

Ah, food~ You can tell your lovely little kitchen spirits that Katta hates spicy food, salty food and garlic. (All the stuff I like... ;_; ) Other than that she eats everything (and loves meat). Your memory doesn't lie~ I'm the kind of bad vegetarian that eats fish and eggs alongside the veggies. Although, I'm not as strict abroad because I want taste the local specialties since food is such a big part of a country's culture, so I guess I'd make an exception for German sausage. ^_^' Also, I discovered last week that I'm probably allergic to nuts. O.o' Which is totally messed up 'cause I've always been able to gorge down peanut butter by the spoonful with no problem. I think what I react badly to is raw nuts, but eh, haven't tested everything out properly yet. It's not like I get any life threatening reactions anyway, I just develop wounds inside my mouth.

I go shirtless, not topless! (You hear what you wanna hear, huh? xD) That's fine, I can't guarantee the safety of people who harass me either: Katta can and has beaten up guys two heads taller than her. So it's settled: you get a "Grace" Fullbuster if the weather gets too hot.

That goes terribly wrong with the "chili con carne" we planned. XD well, we have an alternative: no so spicy chili con carne and the classical german "kartoffelsalat mit bockwurst" ( potato salad with wurst) xD
The potato salad will be torally free of any meat whereas the wurst of course is totally meat (and stuff). But there will be snacks like peanuts and pretzels. :3
Btw, i have been told by my kitchen spirits that peanuts aren't exactly nuts per se. They're legumes. So maybe that's the reason. ;3
And just in case... the motto influences the music... don't be surprised by random german 90th music. XD

I don't think I'll ever recover fully from the German ordeal... or even want to. xD I brought Imp's cold with me back home so right now I'm wallowing in miserable self-pity and snot-filled paper tissues... x'D And thanks to you I can't walk past a pug in the streets without thinking "oh, look: a single boob, all alone...". I have defeated Imp's cold! So now I'm pondering which animal to make the national animal of Germany after I conquer you. The Jesus Bug or the German Boob Fly? So all in all I'm in good health (although school is doing its best to mess up that) and I had just started to wonder if I should write you and check that you were okay. x'P But, you've just been busy as usual then. I was thinking cosplay photos would be the first thing that showed up, but that Jean/Marco pic was good! o3o *next stop on my to-do list over lunch break* We've started drilling in (plastic) teeth now and I keep thinking "Shit... the day I do this in some person's mouth I'm gonna be so nervous I puke. Nothing is allowed to go wrong, nothing is allowed to go wrong [repeat repeat]."

Aaaah you should've written back earlier, I don't remember when Katta was back on chocolate again! x'D The effect didn't last long though, so I think you'll have to look for other drug rehab methods. I came across this natural chemical called "miraculin" and if you eat that then for the next hour your tastebuds will register sour tastes as sweet. It sounds cool at least (I'd try it if I got the chance). Making pickled cucumber taste like candy...

Abby is my beginner-course German instructor now. xD (She doesn't know that, though: sshhh!) No, be shameless in writing random shit! It feels more like a regular talk that way. I should daresay it should be illegal for tsomeone who doesn't even work to have so less time... well, there'S also n mount of laziness involved.
