# About me

I am the Editor-in-Chief of Wayfinder magazine, a fanzine created by Pathfinder fans for Pathfinder fans. Pathfinder is in reference to the roleplaying game published by Paizo Publishing.

I've been at the helm of the fanzine since issue #5, back in 2011. In 2011, we won the Judge's Choice award for Wayfinder #4. In 2013, we won the Gold ENnie for Best Free Product for Wayfinder #8.

In addition to being Editor-in-chief, I'm also the Ad Manager AND the Art Director. Being Art Director is one of my favorite jobs for Wayfinder, actually. I use DeviantArt to keep a watch out for new artists. During my time at Wayfinder, we have turned the 'zine into a launch board for fans who want to find a way into the tabletop gaming industry, either as writers and developers, or as commissioned artists. So, while I really want awesome art for our fanzine, I also want to get new and talented artists NOTICED. And we have a pretty good track record for that...many game publishers come and ask me for recommendations for artists and cartographers. I am always happy to give them names.
