It's actually already based on my own species (that I called Jace and have been doodling for years), but your design is kind of different (mine have hands on their wings and no mane/hair) so I don't know what to say. :/ I don't think I have a patent on bird/cat hybrids, though. Let me think about it.

well, in this case i would be taking a design you have been already practicing with and costomizing it, but since it was your idea first it'd be best if you called something on it. Or we could make it a shared design, that way we both have eights to our own designs but in a way that i borrowed off of you a bit but it was yours originally...............
gah! i'm no good at making logics in teh morings! sorry for this wall of text.........all i'm really trying to say is that, Jace was your idea in the first place so you should make the choice
