# About me

Although I used to love to draw, paint, and sculpt as a elementary, middle, and high school student, I hadn't really picked up a pencil or pen to draw in 20+ years.

I recently began really working on my technique and fundamentals out of enjoyment, but also as a means to an end.

I am also a writer of fiction and screenplays. As such, I found myself generating these really strong images of the characters and scenes that I wrote about. As a screen writer, these images don't always get a chance to be filmed due to one reason or another. Hence, my desire to represent these scenes in any way possible.

I realize that my deviations to this point are crude and very fundamental, they are a stepping off point to producing the stories I have floating around in my mind.

To anyone and everyone who posts a comment, I really appreciate that you have taken some time to look at my work and provide your thoughts.

To all, best of luck in your artistic endeavors.

Joe
