Well, when I'm going to make a big drawing, first I make a sketch on a small sheet to see if the idea I have works in addition to creating a visual guide for when I do it big and so I don't waste big sheets, I use a small sheet because This way it is easier and faster to erase without leaving many marks. I use black to mark the lines and for coloring, first I see the different shades of each color that I have and based on that I choose the colors and for the backgrounds I use pastel colors and combine them to create different effects.
