wow...thank you so much...haha that's the type of thing i would write to other people!! But from the bottom of my heart thank you so much. I really appreciate what you said, and of course at times I wish I could get a few more hits or watches but I'd rather have one person like you looking at my stuff and maybe getting my POV than a million people with no real passion. I will continue to do my thing and get stuff on here as much as i can but i get distracted easily!!

I think the line art piece was really helpful, I never knew about the setting to slow down the lines as you draw them and know i can't do without it!! Plus, the settings you use for the airbrush as an inking pen was great-before I had been cheating and using the linework that you can edit, adjust pressure but using your method looks nicer, more controlled and natural.
As well as that seen you putting the layer mode to shade was helpful because it made me realize I had an outdated version of SAI!!!

And I suppose the colouring and hi lighting, it's nice to see someone else's techniques as well as even the way you draw the pin ups was good!!

In general, I just thought for me, who is trying to develop a bit, trying to come up with my own characters and style it's just so handy to see someone offer a good understanding of the software I use, cos it's hard to find that info and your stuff always looks so great and polished it was nice to see it can be achieved in Paint tool sai!!

That was all a bit long, sorry bout that but 2 big thumbs up and I'm going to keep practicing!!

I completely agree, I love seeing other people's process it may give me an idea to adopt into my own. Which I have done over the years.

Haha, but was a good read. I'm super glad to hear you got so much out of it. It makes it all worth it when people tell me these things as you have. I will watch your work and make sure you do keep practicing. Hahah!

thanks, i appreciate that a lot!! seriously, you have no idea!! I'm relatively new to digital art so im still getting to grips with it...I'll keep practicing, I'm only back after a dislocated elbow so its a process at the min...

I'm thinking of maybe starting to sketch by hand and scan in to ink just because I think I have more patience when I sketch on paper!! With digital I'm just so impatience to see the colour etc that I know I rush it and things get sloppy!!!

Oh I got the new Sai!!

Nice! I see it as whatever way is most comfortable for you. Will ultimately be best! Everyone eventually finds their own way to go about this whole art thing. I hear that about the impatience haha, it's still something I kinda struggle with. lol

yeah, i think i just need to take the time to practice styles and techniques a bit more then hopefully I'll find the characters that are lodged in my brain somewhere!!!

your work is awesome though, makes me wish id never put down the pencil way back when... might have more improvement by now!!
