Blocking policy
I've seen a few other deviants post one of those on their profile, usually one saying that they'll block whoever they please because they don't like discussing anything with people for religious reasons - read: They can't debate and are afraid they'll lose because their endless bible quotations will lead them in an argumentative circle (Yes, I'm looking at you, ExaltGod).
So, here's my own:
I reserve the right to block whomever I damn well please.
I will, however, only do so if you are extremely rude, fail to argue with any rationality or basic decorum, repeatedly ignore my posts and keep on repeating yourself ad nauseam or do nothing constructive but preach. I'll also likely block you if you choose to block me to keep me from replying to you (see below).
I will not, however, block you simply to make you unable to reply to the arguments I bring forth, unlike some other deviants here. That's cheap, and I refuse to stoop that low.

There isn't much of a difference character-wise, that's true. She merely directs her asshole-ness onto different topics.
But the thing is, even though especially here in Germany this kind of opinion is looked down upon at the moment, I do not believe that holding fascist views automatically invalidates everything someone says. I can differentiate between the bullshit and things that actually make sense. And in some ways, she does make sense - more so than when she was a christian.

I think that's putting it a bit drastic, but ... I'm torn, you know.
On the one hand, sure, people fleeing war and terror need help. That's one of the basic principles of humanism - helping people in need, because if you were in their place, you'd want people to help you as well.
So much for the theory. In practice, shit is burning here. On the one hand you have refugees mass-raping women on new year (I know the leftist propaganda machine has tried time and time again to tell people that those weren't refugees but [insert cheap excuse X here], but that's bullshit), on the other hand you have Nazis burning stuff to the ground, and while the whole country is full of hate and anger and people are preoccupied, the national and EU governments take the opportunity to fuck people over as best they can by trying to push shit like TTIP with nobody noticing, or having a bunch of US nukes installed in military facilities all over the country, because fuck, nukes are so great at solving problems, right?
That aside, crime rates are up, people are shredding each other on social media about this shit, and we seem to have a small but steady influx of IS operatives among the refugees (because wow, nobody could have forseen that, so if there are refugees who just happened to have trown aw- um, I mean lost their passports, of course we let them in!! Right?? AAARGHH!!!) who somehow up until now all got caught before they could kill people, but how long is that gonna keep up?
In the next few months, me and my girlfriend are moving out of the city into the countryside, and I'm damn glad we are.

I am not a German I am Albanian, and I thought if I were a refuge how would I feel. Of course I would want them to let me in. But life is hard, if Europe had the power to shut down the hunger they would've done it by now. I see no reason why keep them in. The entire thing is real mess, you explained it better.

She told me in some comment. Sadly I can't find it any more.
Thing was, I was having a discussion with her - about the origin of the universe and stuff, and she was kinda using me to bounce ideas and arguments off me, advocatus diaboli style, you know.
I still remember her blocking me for wanting to even start a discussion a few years back (no idea when she unblocked me, but when I saw that I could comment again, I did), so I was fairly surprised already.
Additionally, she wanted to stick to cold, hard logic, no bible quotes, no delusional babbling, nothing.
At the end of it, I was remarking on the fact that she seemed to be a good deal more critical and sceptical than she used to be, which she confirmed.
I'm taking this for a positive sign. She's actually thinking. Examining her beliefs, checking if they can hold up to scrutiny. If she keeps it up, she may well find that they do not. I really hope so.
