Yeah it was on those lines. I don't fancy scrolling down the entire conversation all over again.

The main point still stands it was never specifically joking. No emoticons make it hard to tell what's a joke or not. And seeing as me and scotch only had one conversation previous to this it's hard to work out what attitude artists have in general

I meant by personality. I've spoken to say C0smicCobalt long enough to work out when she's having a joke at me. But someone who I've spoken to once I have no idea of their personality so just "you need sleep" with no emoticon can be taken in several different ways.

Wait? If your art isn't at the same calibre you can't givce someone critism?
I have friends who are worse than me at art but I don't tell them not to critise me.
Yes my art has improvements but we've all seen what cats look like so I'll know if the
anatomy isn't right.
